OMAX Equipment Features

OMAX Corporation is the leader in designing and manufacturing precision abrasive waterjet machining systems. The OMAX JetMachining Centers consist of four key elements.

  1. Industry leading patented abrasivejet controller with built in expert system. The OMAX software makes it easy to machine precision parts as fast as possible at the lowest cost.
  2. A precision X-Y motion system rigidly coupled to the material support table structure to ensure precise repeatable parts.
  3. An ultra high-pressure direct drive pump that pressurizes water used by the cutting nozzle.
  4. An abrasivejet delivery system that forces high-pressure water through a self-aligned nozzle and adds a precisely metered flow of powdered abrasive to create a coherent abrasive cutting stream.

All OMAX machines can create complex parts from a wide range of materials, including metal, plastic, glass, ceramics and composites. Parts can be loaded from a CAD drawing or DXF file, or created directly by the powerful OMAX software.
